Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These Terms of Service govern the use of this website and the beauty services provided by Charlesworth Beauty LLC. The studio operates from 235 E 100 S, Minersville - 84752-7755, United States (US). By using the website or by booking an appointment, the client agrees to these terms.

We have written the terms in plain language so that the agreement is readable rather than intimidating. Please read the sections on booking, cancellation, skin preparation and photography with particular care, because those sections contain the commitments that matter most in practice.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between the client and Charlesworth Beauty LLC. A person who browses the website without booking accepts these terms in relation to the use of the website. A person who books an appointment accepts these terms in relation to the service that is booked, whether the booking is made in writing, by telephone or in person.

Where a booking is made on behalf of a group, the person who makes the booking is responsible for making sure that every member of the group is aware of these terms. That person is also responsible for payment and for communicating any change to the schedule, unless the studio agrees otherwise in writing.

If a client does not agree with these terms, the client should not use the website and should not book a service. Nothing in these terms removes a right that the law gives to a consumer and that cannot be excluded by agreement.

2. Services Offered

The studio offers bridal makeup artistry, editorial styling sessions, skin preparation treatments, lash and brow shaping, on-location beauty crews and studio retail curation. The scope of each service is described on the services page of this website and in the booking outline sent to a client before a deposit is taken.

The studio may decline a booking where the requested service falls outside its competence, where the schedule cannot be met, or where the working conditions at a location would make a safe and reliable result impossible. We would rather decline a booking than accept one that we cannot deliver well.

Descriptions of a service on the website are indicative rather than exhaustive. The precise scope of a booking is the scope recorded in the booking outline and in any trial notes agreed with the client.

3. Booking and Confirmation

An enquiry does not create a booking. A booking is created when the studio confirms the date in writing and, where a deposit is required, when the deposit has been received. Until both steps have happened the date remains open to other clients.

The client is responsible for providing accurate details at the time of booking, including the date, the start time, the location and the number of people to be prepared. A change to any of these details may require a revised booking outline and may affect the price or the start time.

The studio will send a written confirmation that sets out the agreed details. A client who notices an error in the confirmation should tell the studio promptly so that the record can be corrected before the date.

4. Deposits and Payment

Bridal bookings and location bookings usually require a deposit to hold the date. The deposit is applied to the final balance and is not an additional charge. The amount of the deposit and the date on which the balance falls due are stated in the booking outline.

The balance is payable before the appointment or on the day, according to the booking outline. Payment may be made by the method offered by the studio at the time of booking. The studio does not store card details in a working system, and card payments are handled by a payment provider.

Where a payment is late, the studio may suspend the booking and may release the date to another client after giving written notice. The studio will not release a date without first attempting to contact the client through the details provided.

5. Pricing and Changes

Prices are stated in the booking outline and are valid for the date specified. A price may change where the scope of the work changes, where additional people are added to a party, where a location requires significantly more travel time, or where a client requests a service that was not part of the original plan.

The studio will notify the client of any change in writing before the change takes effect. A client who does not accept a revised price may cancel according to the cancellation terms, and the deposit will be handled according to those terms.

Retail prices are those displayed at the counter at the time of purchase. Taxes are applied where required. The studio does not adjust a price retrospectively after a service has been delivered.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

A client may cancel a booking by writing to the studio. The amount of any refund depends on how close the cancellation is to the appointment date. For a bridal booking, a cancellation made well before the date is usually refunded in part, a cancellation made in the final weeks may forfeit the deposit, and a cancellation made in the final days may forfeit the balance as well.

A client may reschedule a booking where a suitable alternative date is available. The studio will make a reasonable effort to accommodate a reschedule, particularly where the reason is outside the control of the client. A reschedule made at short notice may attract a fee that reflects the work that has already been done.

Where the studio must cancel a booking, it will give as much notice as possible and will either offer an alternative date or refund the amounts paid for the cancelled service. The studio is not responsible for costs that a client incurs with other suppliers as a result of a cancellation.

7. Trials and Consultations

A trial is a working appointment rather than a preview of a finished event. It is used to test colour, finish, durability and comfort, and it may involve a series of adjustments before the look is agreed. The outcome of a trial is recorded in writing so that the wedding morning can follow the agreed plan.

A client is encouraged to bring reference images to a trial and to be honest about what feels comfortable. A plan that looks impressive on a screen but feels uncomfortable on the face is a plan that will not survive a long day, and the studio would rather adjust it at the trial than on the morning itself.

A trial fee is stated in the booking outline and is separate from the price of the wedding day service unless the outline says otherwise. A trial that is cancelled at short notice may be charged in part to cover the reserved time.

8. Skin Condition and Disclosure

A client should tell the studio about any skin condition, medical treatment, recent cosmetic procedure or known reaction that may affect the service. The studio relies on that information to choose products and techniques that are appropriate and to avoid harm.

Where a client chooses not to disclose a relevant condition, the studio cannot be responsible for a reaction that a disclosure would have prevented. The studio may decline a treatment where the risk cannot be assessed, and may recommend that a client seek advice from a medical professional before an appointment.

The studio does not provide medical advice and does not diagnose a skin condition. Skin preparation treatments are cosmetic services, and a client with a medical concern should consult a qualified clinician.

9. Allergies and Patch Testing

A patch test is available on request before an appointment that involves a product the client has not used before. A client with a known allergy should tell the studio at the time of booking so that a suitable alternative can be arranged and so that the kit can be prepared in advance.

The studio keeps a record of products used at a trial and will avoid a product that caused a reaction. Where a client has reacted to a product in the past, the client should bring the name or the packaging to the next appointment so that the studio can identify it accurately.

In the rare event of a reaction during an appointment, the studio will stop the service, remove the product and provide basic aftercare advice. A client who experiences a severe reaction should seek medical attention immediately.

10. Venue and Location Work

Where a service is delivered at a location chosen by the client, the client is responsible for making sure that the studio has safe access to the room, a working power supply where lighting is required, and enough space for a folding counter and seating. Access details should be shared before the date so that the crew can plan an arrival time.

The studio will not work in a space that is unsafe, that lacks adequate light and cannot be supplemented, or that does not allow the team to work without obstruction. If the conditions on arrival differ materially from the plan, the crew lead may adjust the schedule and will explain the reason to the client.

Travel time and parking costs are included where the booking outline says so. Additional travel that arises from a change of location after confirmation may be charged at the rate stated in the outline.

11. Client Conduct

The studio expects clients and their guests to treat the team with courtesy. An appointment is a working environment, and the artist needs a reasonable level of quiet and physical space in order to do the work safely. A client who is abusive, intoxicated or unwilling to allow the service to proceed may have the appointment ended.

Where an appointment is ended for conduct reasons, the amounts paid for the service are not refunded. The studio will record the reason for the decision and will explain it to the client in writing on request.

Guests are welcome at an appointment where the room allows it. The studio may ask a guest to step aside where the number of people in a small room is affecting the quality of the work.

12. Photography and Portfolio Rights

The studio may photograph a completed look for its internal record. A photograph used in the portfolio, on this website or on a social platform is published only where the client has given permission. Permission is requested separately from the booking and may be declined without any effect on the service.

A client who gives permission may place limits on the use of an image, such as a particular platform or a particular period. The studio will respect those limits and will remove an image from the channels it controls within a reasonable period after permission is withdrawn.

Photographs taken by a commissioned photographer at an editorial session are governed by the agreement between the production company and the people on set. The studio does not claim ownership of those images and asks the production company to explain its arrangements to everyone involved.

13. Retail Purchases

Products purchased at the studio counter may be returned in an unused and sealed condition within fourteen days of purchase, with proof of purchase. A product that has been opened, used or damaged cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, except where the product is faulty.

A recommendation from the studio is advice rather than a guarantee of a particular result. Skin responds differently across people and seasons, and a product that suits one client may not suit another. A client with a concern about a product should contact the studio before using it further.

The studio does not accept a return of a product that was purchased elsewhere, even where the studio recommends that product. Such a purchase is governed by the terms of the business that sold it.

14. Intellectual Property

The text, layout, illustrations and visual devices on this website belong to Charlesworth Beauty LLC and are protected by copyright and related rights. A visitor may read and print the pages for personal use but may not copy, republish or adapt the material for a commercial purpose without written permission.

The name Charlesworth Beauty LLC, the studio identity and the written method described on these pages are part of the assets of the business. A third party may not use them in a way that suggests an association or endorsement that does not exist.

A client retains ownership of the face that is prepared, the photographs taken by a commissioned photographer and the personal information shared with the studio. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of a client personal image to the studio.

15. Acceptable Use of the Website

A visitor may use this website for lawful purposes only. A visitor must not attempt to interfere with the operation of the site, introduce malicious code, scrape content at a volume that affects availability or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages.

The studio may block access from an address that is associated with abusive behaviour. A block is applied to protect the service and is reviewed periodically so that an innocent visitor is not excluded for longer than necessary.

The website does not provide a secure channel for sending sensitive information. A visitor should not use the contact form to send medical records, payment details or identity documents. If such a document is needed, the studio will suggest a more suitable method.

16. Third Party Services

The studio may link to a third party website or recommend a third party supplier, such as a photographer or a venue. Those businesses operate independently and are responsible for their own services, prices and terms. The studio does not control them and is not responsible for their conduct.

Where the studio coordinates with a third party at the request of a client, the client remains responsible for the agreement with that third party. The studio will share the information that is needed for coordination and will not share more than the task requires.

17. Limitation of Liability

The studio performs its services with reasonable skill and care. Where something goes wrong, the studio will work with the client to put it right, which may include a correction, a partial refund or another remedy that is fair in the circumstances.

To the extent permitted by law, the studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income, lost opportunities or the cost of rearranging other suppliers. The total liability of the studio in connection with a booking is limited to the amount paid for the service that is the subject of the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. A client in a jurisdiction that grants stronger consumer rights retains those rights in full.

18. Indemnity

A client agrees to cover the studio against a claim that arises from information the client provided that was inaccurate, from a failure to disclose a relevant skin condition or allergy, or from a breach of these terms by the client. This obligation applies only to the extent that the claim results from the conduct of the client.

The studio will notify the client promptly if such a claim arises and will cooperate with the client in responding to it. The client may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault on the part of the studio without written agreement.

19. Events Outside Our Control

The studio is not responsible for a failure to perform that is caused by an event outside its reasonable control. Such events include severe weather, a road closure, a power failure, a public health restriction, a strike or a failure of a supplier that could not have been avoided.

Where such an event occurs, the studio will contact the client as soon as possible, will propose an alternative arrangement where one is available and will discuss a fair outcome. A refund or credit will be offered where the service cannot be delivered at all.

20. Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Policy published on this website. The policy explains what is collected, why it is collected, how long it is kept and how a person may exercise a right over it. The privacy page is part of the agreement between the client and the studio.

A client who shares information about another person, such as a member of a wedding party, confirms that the other person has been told about the sharing and has agreed to it. The studio will use that information only for the purpose for which it was shared.

21. Suspension and Termination

The studio may suspend or end access to the website or to a booking where a client breaches these terms, where behaviour is abusive, or where continuing would create a risk to the studio or to another client. Where it is reasonable to do so, the studio will give notice and an opportunity to put the matter right.

A client may end the agreement by cancelling a booking according to the cancellation terms. Where a booking has already been delivered, the client may still raise a concern and the studio will consider it in good faith.

Sections of these terms that are intended to survive the end of the agreement, including those on intellectual property, liability and disputes, continue to apply after a booking has ended.

22. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the studio is established, without regard to rules that would apply the law of another place. A dispute should first be raised with the studio in writing so that the facts can be understood and a fair solution can be attempted.

The studio will respond to a written concern within a reasonable period and will propose a resolution where one is available. Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, the parties may use mediation or a court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from using a statutory complaint process that is available in the consumer country.

23. Changes to These Terms

The studio may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect. A change applies to a booking made after the change, and does not alter the terms of a booking that was confirmed before the change unless the client agrees.

A client is encouraged to read the terms again before a new booking. Continued use of the website after an update indicates that the updated terms are accepted for the use of the website.

24. Contacting the Studio

Questions about these terms, a request to change a booking and any concern about a service should be sent to the studio. We prefer written messages because they create a clear record, and we will acknowledge a written message promptly.

If a client is not satisfied with a response, the client may ask for the matter to be reviewed by a senior member of the studio team. We take every concern seriously and will explain our reasoning clearly.
